In this continuation of Niels Dam’s KLM Fokker 70 Final Flights mini series, we join Niels for his last KLM Fokker 70 flight between Amsterdam and Durham Teesvalley in the UK. This involved a night time departure from Schiphol Airport, and Niels takes us to his hotel at Durham Teesvalley airport, which pays special tribute to the RAF and RCAF crews that were stationed there during World War II.
A 0400 am wake up was required for the return flight back to Amsterdam the following day, so we get to join Niels at this very unsocial hour as he prepares himself for the final flight of the KLM Fokker 70 back to Amsterdam, and of course Niels takes us along on the flight via his film work as presented in this video.
