I made the cover of Propliner Magazine 9 times in past 35 Years | Henry Tenby air-to-air photography

Details

Hi there, my name is Henry Tenby and I am a lifelong aviation enthusiast and back in the pre-Internet era, I was passionate about ait-to-air Aird photography of commercial and vintage commercial prop driven airliners. During the 1980s and 1990s, Propliner Magazine was the must have periodical for all red-blooded prop fans. Propliner covered the prop driven commercial airliner scene all over the world with a network of enthusiasts that were equally as keen as the publisher Tony Merton Jones, who had taken over from the original founder and publisher Stephen Piercey, who had passed away in 1984. I endeavoured to photograph as many propliners as I could air-to-air, with the joy of seeing my images featured within the pages of Propliner. My living in Yellowknife certainly helped, as I was well connected with the airlines that were based up there, including Joe McBryan‘s now very famous Buffalo Airways. I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for allowing me to share my photography accomplishments with you .
