The NATO base at Geilinkirchen is home to European based Boeing E-3 AWACs aircraft, and formerly NATO Boeing 707 AWACs trainer aircraft. This exclusive video shows NATO Boeing 707 AWACs 707 action, including inflight refuelling footage and runway action.

It also features very rare footage filmed on board an AWACs E-3 aircraft during situation monitoring and area tracking activities. The footage was all filmed and supplied to us by NATO public affairs, for our exclusive use. The NATO Boeing 707 trainers were retired a few years ago so this makes this film rather special. It is certainly not something that can be found elsewhere and is a real treat for fans of vintage jetliners and Boeing 707s.
