The Sudanese registered plane, a Boeing 707-320, operated by Sudan Airways on lease from Azza Air veered sharply to the right after take-off and flipped before crashing. Western Boeing 720-062 arriving Sea-Tac in 1972
Western Airlines Boeing 720 in the old Indian Head livery arriving the Sea-Tac in 1972. One of only three JT3C turbojet powered 720s to wear Western’s livery. These were aquired during the buy-out of Pacific Northern in 1967. Western sold these straight pipe 720s to Alaska in 1974.
