In June of 1998, a classic propliner themed air display was staged at Coventry Bagington Airport in the UK. This was one of the largest ever displays of 1950s era prop driven airliners and headline participants included the MATS C-121 Constellation N494TW, Air Atlantique DC-6 G-APSA , RAF Transport Command C-47, Berlin Airlift Spirit of Freedom C-54 DC-4, Dutch Dakota Association’s KLM DC-4 PD-DDS, South Coast Airlines DC-3 G-DDAK, plus ETPFS Andover, ex Mt.
