[HD] Honeywell Boeing 720 AIR-TO-AIR Part 2 of 2 over GRAND CANYON

Details

My name is Henry Tenby, and in 2007 I had the great honour of visiting the Honeywell Boeing 720 operation with my good friend Anthony J. Hickey to video document many aspects of this classic airliner in the aircraft’s final chapter of service. One of the highlights of the visit had to be our air-to-air photo shoot. On February 7, 2007, we made our way by Honeywell’s A-Star helicopter from Phoenix Sky Harbor to Dear Valley airport which is where Honeywell Sabreliner N670H was based. We used the Honeywell Sabreliner as the air-to-air photo ship, and a lot of preplanning went into the air-to-air photo shoot . And it turned into one of my aviation lifetime highlights. We were airborne doing air-to-air on the Boeing 720 for three hours between 130 and 4:30 PM that magical day. Initially we formatted with the Boeing 720 over Sedona, Arizona, which is about 100 km north of the greater Phoenix area. As it was February, there was a lot of snow in the region, so after our photo work in Sedona, we then headed over to the Grand Canyon region. We did several north-south full canyon back-tracks, in formation with the Boeing 720. We had removed the interior plastic guards from the windows to give us the smoothest and clearest image quality possible. We had two video cameras mounted on tripods and we filmed over one hour of high-quality HD air-to-air footage which has been broken down into two separate videos that stream on the JetFlix TV platform. We’ve preserved all the audio right from the cabin of the Sabreliner so you can hear the conversations between ourselves and the pilots, etc. nothing has been sugarcoated. To be honest, it wasn’t the easiest air-to-air but it certainly was one of the most rewarding of my air-to-air photo career. I hope you enjoy both of these amazing videos and I look forward to your comments. Thank you for watching.
