In the summer of 2007, JetFlix TV cameraman Chris Mak paid a visit to the G-21 Grumman Goose operated by the US Department of the Interior based at Lake Hood, Anchorage. He was lucky enough to join the Goose for a local test flight and he filmed much of the piston pounding proceedings. This video spans the pre departure, engine start and water splash, engine warm ups, departure, a local VFR scenic flight, and the landing back at Lake Hood. Our special thanks go out to the good folks at the US Department of the Interior for their kind hospitality, and to Chris Mak for capturing this amazing piston pounding propliner on video.
